30. August 2017 – The Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commission (FDPIC) has recently issued a «Guide to the Swiss-US Privacy Shield» based on the Guide to the EU-US Privacy Shield of the European Commission.

The Guide of the FDPIC is made available on the FDPIC’s website in English, German, French and Italian. It lays out the basic facts and mechanisms of the Swiss-US Privacy Shield and informs about the obligations of the certified companies and the rights of the persons whose data is being processed.
