30. März 2023 – Swissmedic has approved Pfizer AG's applications to have the company’s COVID-19 vaccines – until now authorised temporarily subject to special conditions – authorised for five years. This decision was based on a large amount of data on the safety, efficacy, and quality of the vaccines which the company has now submitted in compliance with the conditions set.
