21. April 2023 – The Federal Council wants to investigate the suspected cases of incorrectly billed Covid-19 tests and demand the return of the amounts improperly received. This was decided at its meeting on 19 April 2023. A plan to tackle abuse was drawn up and cross-sectional analyses were carried out. The Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) has also initiated criminal proceedings in connection with the processing of invoices for test costs.
