5. Juli 2024 – Swissmedic warns of an increasing number of online and social media sales of supposedly herbal teas, capsules, and concentrates for weight loss or erectile dysfunction. Some users have experienced severe side effects. An urgent warning is issued regarding slimming products and other "natural" items, especially from Asia, marketed as teas, drinks, or capsules. It is advised not to obtain any medicinal products or medical devices from unknown internet or social media sources.
