11. August 2022 – The European Medicines Agency (EMA) started a rolling review for a version of Comirnaty adapted to the original SARS-CoV-2 virus and to its Omicron subvariants BA.4/5. Furthermore, the EMA published updated product information for Comirnaty following an increase in its approved shelf life. Comirnaty is a vaccine for preventing Covid-19 in people aged 5 years and older.
