30. Juni 2023 – Sick people want correct and safe treatment and care. If this is not to happen by chance, the best approach – the "best practices" – must become a habit. The Federal Quality Commission supports the integration of "best practices" in healthcare. The EQK has various possibilities for action. Among other things, it can finance extensive national quality development programmes. The EQF uses this possibility to a large extent to improve medication safety. It has allocated just under CHF 3 million for five corresponding projects in 2022 and 2023. This corresponds to 45 per cent of the 6.6 million Swiss francs awarded so far as financial aid.
