5. Juli 2024 – The Swissmedic Institute Council has enacted Addendum 11.5 of the European Pharmacopoeia as of 1 July 2024. This addendum includes new texts on:

• 2.6.40: Monocyte activation test for vaccines with inherent pyrogenic compone
  
• 2.9.50: Determination of particle size by dynamic light scattering
  
• 5.27: Comparability of alternative analytical procedures
