5. Juli 2024 – Swissmedic is reducing fees for non-commercially funded clinical trial applications by 80%, effective 1 July 2024. This supports Switzerland's status as a research hub without changing the quality and method of assessment. The reduction benefits independent researchers, including universities and non-commercial research bodies. Researchers can apply for the fee reduction using the relevant form (see here).
